You Nailed It!

We resumed our Home Depot Free Kids Workshop this past Saturday. Somehow, amidst the pregnancy last year, as it approached the end, as I grew bigger and waddled more, as we prepared for the delivery and my mother's arrival, our monthly attendance to the free workshops offered by Home Depot and Lowe's subsided to a NIL and it remained NIL from then on.

Recently, as I held a 'meeting' with the kids to discuss how we're going to go about with homeschooling from now on, the matter came up.

"I want to do the Home Depot thing again," S said.

I had forgotten about it, and so, yesterday, we went. Yesterday and today, the girls painted their flower pencil holder on the back porch. H, on the other hand, couldn't be bothered to paint his, so he used the stickers provided at the workshop. When I came in their room today though, I did see his pencil holder painted green.

This coming Saturday, inshaallah, we'll head to Lowe's right after H's last soccer game of the season!
