Indianapolis

We went to Indianapolis last weekend, to attend Fiqh of Love. H was struck by the flu virus the previous weekend and N and S were right inthr throes of it by last Friday. Despite that, we went anyway. I have been waiting to take this class since 2004.

It was not easy. N coughed through the night, and she burned up. Alhamdulillah though, I had brought H to the doctor before we left for Indianapolis. At least I know what I'm dealing with.

In Saturday, I had to bring N with me to the class, but sat outside since they had a policy that wouldn't allow children in the class. The rest of the time, they sat with the babysitter.

Now, N and S are coughing and I just brought them to the doctor again. It's the same strain that H got, though N's coughing is worse than H's. I feel bad for bringing them in the first place but this might be the last Fiqh Of Love class for a while. I have a feeling that I'd be next since I was laden with a headache on Saturday after not being able to sleep at night with a burning and coughing N next to me. The timing was just off, but I'm still determined to attend the class.

I hope we can arrange to leave them with someone here in Columbus this weekend, since I don't think it's a good idea to drag them through the trip to Indianapolis again. Insyaallah, may Allah make it easy. Ameen.

For the sake of Allah, hubby and I HAVE to take this class. I have learned so much already, subhanallah.

elsa, I get that too, which is weird. I think maybe it's the server from which blogger is keeping this blog on.

AM, yes I think the class is a must for EVERYONE who intends to get or is already married. Insyaallah it will be on CD soon because this is the last class Syeikh Yaser'll be teaching. :( He's my fav Almaghrib instructor. I like him because he's organized, strict on manners, follows through with his warnings.
