I dropped N and H today off for their tennis camp. When I picked them up, H, in his excitement, let out a string of incomprehensible words, probably trying to tell us the day's events.
"What didn't happen?" I asked him.
He paused for a while, and answered,
"Everything happened!"
I burst out laughing halfway home while he and N talked about Chocolate Thunder and how fun it was. I have yet to find out what Chocolate Thunder is.
"We played games."
"How? You don't know how to hit the ball," I said.
"I always know how to hit the ball!" he said indignantly.
"How about you N?" I asked.
"He taught us," she replied.
Well, maybe hubby won't be too tired telling them to practice hitting the ball when we go for our tennis outing, which has yet to happen this summer.
