The Babe

One of the reasons I had started this blog was to keep a journal documenting the kids' antics. I had attempted a physical handwritten journal when S, N and H were younger, but with three kids under the age of 4 it proved to be unrealistic, as I was always completely exhausted by the end of the day. I however, managed to record S and N chatting prior to taking their nap, and listening to it makes me want to relive those years, despite the toil I went through.

That's what makes mothers among the craziest people in the world. They go through morning sickness, back pain, leg pain, sleepless nights, sinking couches, frequent bathroom miles, and much much more during pregnancy. Then they go through teeth gritting pain, no, hand squishing pain, no, arm biting pain for hours on end to deliver their bundles of joy. And that is just the beginning, baby. Then they go through truly sleepless nights, engorged breasts, cracked nipples, tearful moments, falling hair, ugly blobs, and much much more. And if that's not enough, they then go through juggling phases, stick-like-glue phases(when you have to bring baby in the bathroom with you because he stick to you like glue), cooking while baby cries moments, can't pick up the phone or get the door while you're nursing moments, naps interrupted resulting in cranky baby moments, and much much more.

And then they start talking about having another one. Hello! Are you a martyr, sadist, or just plain crazy? I rest my case.

Then again, only the insane understands the fellow insane. Only a mother can truly understand what it feels like to have her own flesh and blood right before her, and no matter how much trouble she went through for that little being, after she recollects herself and stop muttering over hoe hard life is, she will meander into the world of the 'loony mothers' and dream of hatching another little being, and go through all that again.

Baby Z is now almost 10 months old, crawling at a beginner's level, pulling himself up to stand, saying mamama, papapapa, and some other words we can't seem to understand, and finally growing two bottom pearly whites. He's really on the move, and just today, we have had to reposition him again and again as he reaches for the kids' school books, my laptop, and everything else in sight. Suffice it to say, now is the time I would really lose weight from constant movement, along with his.

I realize that I have been skimping on jotting down stories about Baby Z, just because homeschooling is the 'theme' of this blog, but I am now reminded that my budding purpose for starting this blog is to document my children's antics and now Baby Z is very much a part 'Days of Our Lives'.

Salam Nadia (hugs). I have always wondered too, why women who complain the most (especially!) during pregnancy, post-pregnancy, yada yada, are the ones who will immediately get pregnant after the first one is not even what two? Heheh.

I cant believe Baby Z alreay have teeth! Rasa br jer awak bersalin :P
