Oh BLEEP

H is now learning about money. His spelling is like that of a first grader. His reading is like that of a first to second grader. His writing is like that of a doctor.

I was checking the worksheet page he did when my eyes scanned over a word that shouldn't be in any child's vocabulary! (well at least in my opinion)

"Scott need _______________" was the problem he was supposed to solve.

He wrote ," 5 more peni*"

All down the page he wrote the same thing, with the same spelling. Obviously he doesn't know what he did, and I wasn't and am not about to tell him. Not in a couple of years at least.

I guess the word itself is not taboo in a total sense. However, it's the connotation that comes with it that makes it a taboo.

So, what do I make of this? What a way to begin the day!
