Today's history lesson was about the Medici family in Florence, Italy. Since they started banking in Florence, we talked about Riba'. Hubby had already mentioned it to the kids sometime ago, and when I mentioned it again, H piped up,
"Oh yeah!"
As a closure to the lesson, both N and H did something to put in their lapbook, and H came up with what he calls the Cosimo Song.
He took the paper he had written it on, and started his performance. Taking small steps, he hunched his back and started 'singing' the Cosimo Song. I burst into laughter. It was a very well done performance! You can count on H to give a funny twist to a 'normal' lesson.
